I’m having trouble creating a password
When creating a new password on the Planning Applications Wales, it must meet the password creation criteria:
- The password must be between 8-50 characters in length
- It must be a mix of upper and lower case letters
- It must contain at least one non-alphabetic character
- It must not contain commonly used words and or numeric sequences.
If you are using common words and run into difficulties when trying to create a password try replacing alphanumeric characters with special characters.
When you have met the password creation criteria, a green tick will appear under the field indicating that your chosen password is valid. Additionally, on the forgotten password sign in page you will be able to click on the eye icon in the new password field to see what you are typing.
You then need to re-enter this password exactly in the next field. Please note, you won’t be able to cut and paste from the create password field to the confirm or re-enter password field.
