Where to get approval
Registered building control approver services
Registered building control approvers are companies or individuals authorised under the Building Act 19841 to carry out building control work in England and Wales.
The Building Safety Regulator (BSR) is the body responsible for deciding all applications for registered building control approver status in England. You can find out more about the BSR's role (including how to register to become a building control approver) through the guidance provided by government2.
