Change of use
Building Regulations
The building regulations may apply to certain changes of use of an existing building even though you may think that the work involved in the project will not amount to 'building work'.
You may wish to contact your local building control body for further advice.
General guidance on the performance expected of materials and building work in order to comply with the building regulations and practical examples and solutions on how to achieve compliance for some of the more common building situations can be found in the approved documents section.
