Determination

Why may a dropped kerb application be rejected?

An application can be rejected for multiple reasons, primarily the placement of the pavement in relation to safe access. If visibility is restricted due to corners, walls or obstructions then it may be deemed unsafe. Similarly, if the pavement is too close to traffic lights or junctions then the application may be refused.

The parking area1 can have an impact on the determination of the application. If there is not enough space, then it could be refused as it may impact accessibility on the pavement.
