Why can I no longer submit an application to my chosen building control body?
If you are unable to select your chosen building control body (local authority or registered building control approver), to submit your application to, it means they are not currently set up to receive applications from the Building Control Portal.
We have shared full details of the new service with them and the benefits to be realised from a combined, standard and consistent service. We are working tirelessly to enable them as soon as possible and as we transition across, you will see more of them become available on a weekly basis.

Whilst we continue to engage and set them up, you can access a paper form as an interim solution.
