Making an online building control application

Your building control application

When you have created a new application or when you open an existing one from the ‘Applications’ section, you will be taken to an overview for that application. This screen lets you view and manage the application form details, showing you how much of each section have been completed and areas that need information before the application can be submitted.

This screen also displays the name of the application, its building control (BC) reference number, the application type being applied for, and the status and date you last updated the building control application.

From the overview screen, you can also download a watermarked copy of the draft application before you submit, or a copy of the completed application after you submit.

Online application process

Using the action buttons, you can navigate to the correct section to complete the following tasks:

  1. Questions - Complete the application questions (also lists all sections and shows a progress bar)
